Night Alone

-A poem

The night is mine, as I sit here alone
With a cigar, and a pen, as my only known
The sky above, a canvas of stars
Each one, a reminder of the love that we are

Though you are not here, the sky speaks of you
In every twinkle and every hue
My mind wanders, to the memories we shared
As I sit here, lost in thoughts, unspared

The moon is full, and the clouds drift by
As I inhale the smoke, and let out a sigh
Though I am alone, I am not lonely
For the sky above, tells the story of you and me.
