Caribbean Rain

Caribbean Rain,
A symphony of sights and smells,
Scents of sand, lush green so sweet,
Nature in perfect harmony swells,
a sensory delight,
a melody on an aluminum roof,
bliss of a kompa, a merengue,
music that soothes the soul,
blends with rustling of palm leaves,
Coconut trees sway in the breeze,
as rain washes away the heat,
lost in the beauty of the sea,
listen to the wind’s call,
the sound of waves against the sand,
ocean whispers secrets to the hill,
a lullaby for the soul to hear,
peace descends, in this delight,
exhilarating joy to the soul,
Let the rain pour down,
Drops bounce, dance,
knock at my windowpanes,
Cold or chills,
a pleasant tingling feeling,
steaming ginger tea, warm blankets,
In silence, lost in thought,
The taste of life with orgasms,
Oh, my Caribbean rain
such a flavor of heavens on earth.
